Men Like Me is a family violence and gender-based violence prevention program, aiming to empower fathers through a peer-led model that fosters healthy mindsets and promotes positive masculinities.

About
Piloted in 6 communities from 2024 to 2026, Men Like Me is a family violence and gender-based violence (GBV) prevention program for fathers with young children.
Using a strength-based, peer-led approach, the program builds fathers' agency and capacity to break gender stereotypes, build confidence, and both practice and promote healthy masculinities
Program includes:

12 weeks of programming for confidence, capacity and community building around male allyship, gender-based violence prevention, and stronger familial bonds.

10 weekly peer-led meetings to build knowledge, confidence, and community.

10 father-led activity packets for fathers to engage with their children.

10 male allyship guides to foster positive masculinities and healthy mindsets.
