Sheryl Kennedy Scholarship

Mothers Matter Canada is proud to honour Sheryl Kennedy, who has completed a ten-year term on Mothers Matter Canada's Board. Sheryl was an instrumental driver behind the transformation from HIPPY Canada to the Mothers Matter Centre. Working tirelessly with other Board members, Sheryl’s contributions have helped establish Mothers Matter Canada as an internationally respected institute benefiting mothers across Canada.

 

Sheryl’s dedication to the cause, to so many mothers without a voice, was an inspiration to staff and to her fellow Board members. She was unstinting in her generous gifts of time and personal connections to move our fledgling organization along. Her advice has always been thoughtful and helpful, and her evident empathy and compassion to the women we have the honour to serve both genuine and abundant.

 

To celebrate Sheryl’s years of service and honour a beloved Board member, we have named a scholarship fund after her. We look forward to helping a mother who demonstrates outstanding determination to advance her education. Mothers Matter Canada will award $500 annually for women wishing to pursue training relating to a business career.
